Its mission is “To Inspire and Enable Our Youth, Our Community.” FFY is grounded in four cornerstones: Commitment to Learning, Character and Leadership, Positive Identity, and Healthy Lifestyles. Staff are certified through the Child and Youth Care Certification Board (CYCCB). FFY relies on community support, volunteers, and partnerships to sustain its programs and expand its outreach, and former FFY kids now include local business leaders, educators, medical professionals, public servants, and community organizers.
