Since 2007, Graduation Alliance has worked with more than 650 state agencies, school districts, community colleges, and workforce boards around the country. Its mission is to create alternative pathways to educational attainment. Graduation Alliance partners with schools, agencies, and communities nationwide, including state agencies, school districts, community colleges, workforce boards, workforce agencies, government agencies, and community leaders across the nation. Graduation Alliance meets standards recognized by organizations such as Cognia, B-Corp, and Quality Matters, became a Certified B Corporation in early 2021, and operates The American Academy, an online high school that is fully accredited by Cognia. The programs include pathways to post-secondary education and career training with preferential enrollment, dual credit opportunities, and early financial aid reviews, and they are supported with recruiting, transcript analysis, technology, coaching and mentoring, and other support services. Graduation Alliance has nationwide partnerships with school districts to re-engage students who have left school, recover credits, and expand alternative pathways to graduation, and it partners with state agencies, workforce boards, and colleges to help adults earn high school diplomas and gain in-demand career skills.
“After the program, it really made me realize like if I don’t get my work done by myself or for myself, it will never get done. And it just really helped me step up and upgrade myself and really make sure that I was putting my responsibilities first.” - Endea W., Michigan High School Graduate
“I just feel like everything is just at my fingertips, like I can do anything, I feel like the job that I've been wanting to do for so long is now something that I can do because I have the diploma and I feel like that's the one thing that was stopping me...” - Megan M., Arizona Workforce Diploma Program Graduate
“Ever since I got my diploma, my life has changed for the better. I am now able to get good paying jobs. I've grown more confident in my ability to govern myself and my ability to learn... which wouldn’t have been possible without Graduation Alliance.” - James W., Washington High School Graduate
