About

Gymboree Play & Music Classes include interactive games, play, and music in parent/child classes that explore the senses and support visual and auditory development. The program offers activities that build strength through play and develop problem-solving skills through interactive games, play, and music, including activities with a parachute and bubbles. It also offers a private, personalized party experience filled with child-friendly activities.

• Ages: 0–5 years old

Gymboree Play & Music Classes use innovative playscapes with proprietary equipment designed to create challenges that inspire learning. The programs are research-based and created by experts in early childhood development, with a child-led approach that builds upon each child’s own abilities. Specially designed classes incorporate age-appropriate activities that focus on physical, cognitive, and social skills for infants (0–8 months), babies (6–18 months), toddlers (10–28 months), and preschoolers (22 months–5 years). Gymboree Play & Music centers are owned and run by people who care about giving children the best start in life. The fun began in 1976 with an idea to stretch a child’s rapidly developing mind and body.

At Gymboree Play & Music, the stated mission is based on the view that relationships and experiences in the first three years of life have a profound impact on a child’s future, and that it is essential for parents and caregivers to nurture development at this stage, with Gymboree Play & Music programs aiding in nurturing this component of development.

Parents have shared that music class with Miss Rachael includes the origin of an artist or genre, motor skills, memorization, and parent involvement. One parent reported that a child’s favorite activities include anything to do with the parachute or bubbles, and another parent reported seeing a daughter’s confidence and abilities grow after attending Gymboree Play & Music for a few months.
