The Salvation Army Summer Camps offer activities such as swimming, canoeing, hiking, archery, other sports, arts and crafts, music, drama, team-building activities, leadership training, community service projects, scouting, music development, swimming lessons, adventure camps, and scouting camps. Camp sessions are available as both day summer camps and overnight summer camps. Some camps take place at The Salvation Army Kroc Community Centers and are part of The Salvation Army’s network of free summer camps that include outdoor recreation, educational activities, and hands-on projects, with an emphasis on the restorative power of nature and spending time outdoors.
