Swim Lessons

Swim Lessons includes YMCA swim lessons for youth and adults, as well as private swim lessons, adult swim lessons, and stroke classes such as Stroke Introduction, Stroke Intro/Development, Stroke Mechanics, and Stroke Development. Private swim lessons are offered as a 30-minute single lesson, a 6-lesson option, and a buy 12, get 1 free option. Adult Swim Lessons are held every Thursday, and several private lesson options are available every Sunday to Saturday.

• Adult Swim Lessons — Adult · Every Thu · $60–$90 · It’s never too late to learn to swim. Trained aquatics staff teach floating, safety skills, or becoming a proficient lap swimmer.
• Stroke Development — Every Sat; Every Tue; Every Wed · $60–$90 · Level Five introduces breast-stroke and butterfly, reinforces water safety, and teaches stroke technique and major competitive strokes.
• Stroke Intro/Development — Every Mon; Every Sat; Every Tue · $60–$90 · Level 4 introduces stroke technique in front and back crawl and reinforces water safety through treading water and elementary backstroke.
• Stroke Introduction — Every Sat; Every Tue · $60–$90 · Level 4 introduces stroke technique in front and back crawl and reinforces water safety through treading water and elementary backstroke.
• Stroke Mechanics — Every Sat; Every Tue · $60–$90 · Level Six refines stroke technique on all major competitive strokes, teaches students about competitive swimming, and encourages swimming as part of a healthy lifestyle.
