About

Swim Lessons is a program offered by the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana. The program takes place within a YMCA association that offers mission-driven programs and quality services to children and families and is based on five core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Faith. Families in Swim Lessons have access to updates and member perks through the YMCA Pulse app.

The YMCA of Southwestern Indiana was founded in 1857 by E. H. Sabin and has offered programs and services to children and families for over 165 years. It is a volunteer-founded, volunteer-led organization that responds to community needs by serving all people, especially youth, through relationships and activities that promote healthy spirit, mind, and body. The association’s leadership includes President Rob Bernardin, President Elect Daniela Vidal, Treasurer Bob Musgrave, Secretary Doug Petitt, and a Board of Directors made up of community volunteers. The YMCA of Southwestern Indiana is part of a worldwide YMCA movement in more than 130 countries, with over 2,500 YMCAs in the United States, and serves individuals of all ages, races, religions, and economic backgrounds.
