About

Miss Polly's Music Class offers early childhood music and movement classes that include steady beat awareness, pitch awareness, instrument play, rhythm and tonal repeats, language activities, socialization activities, fine motor movement, gross motor movement, listening, singing, bonding, and other musical activities. The program uses research-based music and movement programs and The Music Class curriculum in all class sessions. Children in the program hear award-winning music written and recorded in-house by The Music Class, with recordings that feature real instruments and vocalists and include musical styles such as rock, jazz, opera, and traditional songs from around the world.

Miss Polly's Music Class aims to offer high-energy and fabulously fun musical activities that enhance the growth and development of the young child and to foster a warm and welcoming environment for children and their caregivers while cultivating a safe and fun space for children to learn and grow. Miss Polly's Music Class, LLC opened its doors in 2008, and Miss Polly (Polly Martin Jones) is in her 18th year of owning and operating the program. The Music Class, whose curriculum is used by Miss Polly's Music Class, was founded in 1998 and is a family-owned and operated business. The Music Class curriculum used by Miss Polly's Music Class is described as award-winning, and its song collections feature recordings by Grammy-nominated musicians. Miss Polly's Music Class uses The Music Class curriculum across the Franklin, Columbus, and Indianapolis locations.

Miss Polly has undergraduate and graduate degrees from Butler University, including a Bachelor’s in Music Education/Voice and a Master’s in Education Administration. Miss Christina has a Bachelor of Science in Vocal Performance and Theatre from Indiana University. Miss Emma studied Vocal Music with minors in Theatre and Quantitative Methods at Franklin College. Miss Haley has an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University, and Miss Maddie has an undergraduate degree in elementary education from Indiana University Bloomington. Rob Sayer is the founder and director of The Music Class, and Raina Sayer is the COO and director of The Music Class in China.
