Math Kangaroo USA is a national nonprofit organization with a mission of helping students love math. Math Kangaroo USA has been helping students love math through competition, classes, webinars, and camps for 28 years, and for over 27 years has organized an annual international mathematical competition for thousands of students in grades K–12. Math Kangaroo USA 2025 welcomed 53,562 students from across the country. The program is described as an international competition in mathematics for K–12 students and an exciting international math competition for students in grades K–12, with a focus on improving students' math scores and teaching new strategies for solving word and logic problems, helping with critical thinking and gaining confidence in the classroom. Private centers offer registration exclusively to their own students via a Center Invitation Code, while public centers welcome students from any school or grade and must be in-the-classroom centers. Self-proctored virtual centers are available, and participation through self-proctored virtual centers does not include Math Kangaroo items or a formal ranking. Winter Online Classes are limited to 12 students for a personalized learning experience, and Winter Webinars are large-group sessions with up to 300 students that include interactive polls and engagement triggers. Math Kangaroo answer keys are available one month after the competition, and results are released by May 1 and available in the student registration account.
The Student Late Registration Deadline is February 1, 2026, and self-proctored virtual centers will remain open until March 1. A FREE Seminar for Educators is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. EST, presented by Prof. Michael Lambrou from the University of Crete, Greece. Many talented students from Title I schools dream of joining Math Kangaroo, and with donations, Math Kangaroo aims to make Math Kangaroo 2026 accessible for everyone.
