About
Arts for Learning Indiana Programs brings performances, workshops, and residencies to schools, libraries, and organizations across the state. The programs engage approximately 40,000 youth in the arts each year through a powerhouse team of more than 70 Teaching Artists. Arts for Learning Indiana also offers a three-week summer program called ArtForce for high school students interested in exploring the arts as a possible college and/or career option.

Since its founding in 1961, Arts for Learning has partnered with Indianapolis Public Schools and has been the premier provider of arts education programs for youth in the state. Arts for Learning brings the arts to learning communities to champion creativity, innovate education, and transform lives. The organization is part of the national Young Audiences Arts for Learning network and is proud to be Central Indiana Wolf Trap, one of 23 Wolf Trap Institute affiliates. Its community involvement includes partnerships with principals, teachers, and students at several Indianapolis Public Schools, including Raymond F. Brandes School 65, Jonathan Jennings School 109, Daniel Webster School 46, Eleanor Skillen School 34, and James A. Garfield School 31. The leadership team includes President & CEO Anya Aslanova, with Tammy Ruel as the contact for logos, brand standards, and usage of assets, and Angela Yetter as the contact for accessibility questions or requests.
