Create Art Studio offers art classes, workshops, parties, events, open studio time, pop up sessions, tween nights, family explorer experiences, and camps. The studio offers art classes for all ages, including Tiny Friends/Mini-Makers, Art Explorers, Studio Explorers, Art Lab, and Creatives. Classes use a process based art approach, and students are asked to dress to make a mess, with smocks and aprons available.

Chrissy Sweigart, Co-Founder and Art Teacher, holds a BS in Visual Arts All Grade from Ball State University and has taught art for over 20 years to preschool-age children and older in parochial, private, and public schools in Indianapolis and Chicago. She has created art extravaganza summer art camps, been a member of the Indianapolis Children’s Museum Guild where she helped bring the Haunted House to life, and most recently taught early childhood through lower school art at Sycamore School in Indianapolis. Co-Founder and Art Enthusiast Alissa Moody has over 13 years of pediatric experience as a Pediatric Physical Therapist at both Peyton Manning and Riley Children’s Hospitals. Create Art Studio states that it is a process based art studio where participants can celebrate being an artist and being themselves, and that it fosters a community vibe where people can come together and explore ways to create and communicate through art. The studio notes that it usually has no more than 12 students in a class, offers drop in classes if session enrollment does not reach capacity, and provides drop in opportunities for open studio and pop up sessions, with bike and stroller parking available.
