Swim Lessons includes swimming lessons and options to join a swim team, swim laps, play basketball, and take an aerobics class. Swim Team practices are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30–8:30 PM as part of the program’s offerings.
• Ages: 3–15 years old
• Schedule: School-year open swim hours on Saturdays from 11 am–6 pm and Sundays from 12–6 pm, with Swim Team practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30–8:30 pm
• Price: Indy Island Aquatic Center admissions are $6 for adults, $5 for children under 18, and free for children 2 and under; youth (ages 5–15) swim lessons are $49 and preschool (ages 3–5) swim lessons are $34
Indy Parks’ mission is to provide enriching experiences for all. Indy Parks and Recreation provides parks, greenspaces, trails, and recreation opportunities for Marion County residents and visitors, and works with outside agencies such as the National Recreation and Park Association, the Indiana Park and Recreation Association, and the City of Indianapolis’ Racial Equity Core Team.
