Bradford Woods Outdoor Programs includes Explorers Camp and leadership development and team building programs for businesses, schools, teams, or other groups. Explorers Camp is offered as a week-long residential camp for youth. The programs use experiential and therapeutic outdoor activities and focus on healthy risk, developing skills, and building peer relationships through experiential learning and character development.

For over 65 years, Bradford Woods Outdoor Programs has provided recreational, educational, and leadership development opportunities to youth and adults locally, nationally, and globally. The program is an auxiliary service of Indiana University and operates as a responsible, self-funded operation, serving more than 16,000 visitors annually and hosting over 400 unique events each year. Its mission is to improve the quality of life for people of all backgrounds and abilities by using its outdoor setting to provide education, therapy, and recreation, and it unites all programs and education under the banner of “Outdoors for All.” The program uses universal design and programs to serve people of all abilities and backgrounds, celebrates, protects, and nurtures rich natural and cultural resources, and advances fields of practice through research and innovation. Bradford Woods Outdoor Programs is accredited by the American Camp Association and states a vision to be global leaders in delivering inclusive and experiential outdoor programming. The program shares a land acknowledgment recognizing the Miami, Delaware, Potawatomi, and Shawnee people as past, present, and future caretakers of the land.
Bradford Woods Outdoor Programs works with organizations including the American Camp Association, CHAMP Camp, Easter Seals—Crossroads (Indianapolis), First Nations Educational & Cultural Center, Indiana Department of Child Services, Indiana Department of Veterans' Affairs, Indiana National Guard J-9 Division, Indiana University Outdoor Adventures, The Joseph Maley Foundation, Little Red Door Cancer Agency, Metropolitan School District of Martinsville, Mickey’s Camp, Monroe County Community School Corporation, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana Sports Program, Riley Children’s Foundation, and Riley Hospital for Children.
