En Pointe Indiana Ballet offers discovery dance, beginning ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and other dance classes for kids. The program also provides classical ballet training along with many elective dance options.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: 45-minute classes
Artistic Directors Pollyana Ribeiro and Robert Moore lead the program, and each has been dancing professionally for over 20 years. Both artistic directors were classically trained at the Harid Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida, have traveled around the world dancing and teaching with world renowned companies, and have achieved ballet master status, with a combined 40 years’ experience in the field. The staff includes amazingly talented instructors who have danced professionally, and prominent guest instructors visit annually. The program states that its classes are designed to develop students’ physical and technical strength and flexibility in a manner appropriate to each child’s individual development, while inspiring the joy of dance, and that training focuses on preparing dancers with a technical foundation for performances, competition, and personal artistic expression.
