Recreation & Wellness Group Swim Lessons offers group swim lessons, including Parent-Child swim lessons, Preschool swim lessons, Learn-to-Swim lessons (Levels 1–5), and several adult swim options. The program includes Learn-to-Swim classes taught by certified, knowledgeable and caring instructors, with classes tailored to the needs of each participant so they can progress at a comfortable pace. Adult offerings include Adult: Learning the Basics, Adult: Skill & Stroke Improvement, and Adult: Swimming for Fitness, with the Adult Swimming for Fitness class able to be customized to meet the objectives of the participants.

• Schedule: Eight-lesson sessions with class options on Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday afternoons and evenings in Summer 2026
• Price: Learn-To-Swim Pricing Group Lesson Program Pricing: RecWell Member Pricing 8 Lesson Session $50.00; Non-RecWell Member Pricing 8 Lesson Session $70.00.

Group lessons are offered to those aged six months and older, with Parent-Child Lessons for ages 6 months–3 years (30 minutes, ratio 1:10), Preschool Lessons for ages 3–5 years (30 minutes, ratio 1:6), Learn-to-Swim Lessons for ages 6–15 years (40 minutes, ratio 1:6 for Levels 1–3 and ratio 1:10 for Levels 4–5), and Adult Lessons for ages 15+ (40 minutes, ratio 1:6 for Basics and ratio 1:10 for Improvement & Fitness). On Monday and Wednesday, classes run from 5:00–5:30 PM, 5:35–6:15 PM, and 7:15–8:00 PM, and on Tuesday and Thursday, classes run from 5:45–6:30 PM, 6:30–7:15 PM, and 7:15–8:00 PM, with specific time slots for Parent-Child, Preschool, School Age, and Adult: Learning the Basics. For Summer 2026, Session 1 registration opens 5/18/2026 at 9:00 AM and closes 5/29/2026 at 12:00 PM, with classes running 6/1/2026–6/25/2026, and Session 2 registration opens 6/22/2026 at 9:00 AM and closes 7/3/2026 at 12:00 PM, with classes running 7/6/2026–7/30/2026. Participants report to class on the first day and check in at the check-in table.

The program’s stated mission is that all participants will learn to master the skills necessary to promote safe practices around the water. Instructors ensure all participants receive the instruction and attention needed to achieve success in class.
