About
BG OnStage is the resident youth theatre of SKYPAC for students and families of the BRADD area. Its program page lists School Day Performances and classes, and it includes BG BackStage for on-the-job production experience. The program also lists Jr. Theatre for ages 6-10, Acting 101 for ages 8-18, Musical Theatre Dance Styles for ages 12-18, and Leave Your Mark Art Camp – “Masterpieces Remixed.”
Programs
- BG OnStage — Resident youth theatre; students and families of BRADD area · Resident youth theatre of SKYPAC. Dedicated to bringing educational experiences in the arts and quality theatrical productions. Past School Day productions and classes are listed on the program page.
- BG BackStage — $50 per session
- Jr. Theatre — 6-10 · Every Saturday, 9:30-11:00 A.M. · $100 · Students play games, make new friends, and learn to tell stories through acting. No experience needed; all scripts and props provided. A final sharing for close family is included.
- Acting 101 — 8-12; 13-18 · Every Friday, 5:00-6:30 P.M.; 7:00-8:30 P.M. · $100 · Beginner acting class focused on character work, scene development, and basic skills with experienced actors and directors.
- Musical Theatre Dance Styles — 12-18 · Tues.-Friday, 9:30 A.M.-12:30 P.M. · $200 · Week-long camp with basic dance techniques and fundamentals of ballet, jazz, and tap as they relate to musical theater.
- Leave Your Mark Art Camp – “Masterpieces Remixed” — Grades 1st-4th; 5th-8th; 7th-12th · Monday-Friday · $120–$140 · Studio art camp focused on art history, drawing, painting, artistic techniques, and creative expression. Students create their own original art history parody inspired by a masterpiece.

About the provider
BG OnStage has a 16-year history of youth theatre opportunities. For the last eleven years, the program has worked with and prepped students who successfully auditioned for and were accepted into the Governor’s School of the Arts programs for Drama and Musical Theatre. Its mission is to bring educational experiences in the arts and quality theatrical productions to the students and families of the BRADD area.
Deadline to book a class/group for Charlotte’s Web is October 14, 2026 at Noon. Deadline to book a class/group for Seussical, KIDS is April 14, 2027 at Noon. School day reservation inquiries do not guarantee entry or seating availability. Once confirmed, the group is liable for payment of the invoice before the event.
