Gymnastics Programs are offered through the Community Sport and Activity Pavilion, which is described as the community recreation headquarters and provides gymnastics along with other activities such as volleyball, basketball, dance, fitness, Line Dancing, Pickleball, swim, water aerobics, and exercise classes. The Pavilion also offers childcare when kids are out of school as part of its listed activities.

• Schedule: The pool will close at 11:30AM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from March 23–April 3, 2026, to accommodate the Community Swim Lesson Program, and the locker rooms will be closed to the public from 11:30AM–2:00PM during this period.

The Georgetown – Scott County Parks and Recreation Department states that it continually strives to develop, provide, and maintain quality programs and facilities that meet the increasing needs of the growing community. The department’s leadership team includes a Director, Assistant Director, Office Manager, Park Maintenance Manager and Assistant Manager, Facilities Maintenance Manager and Assistant Manager, a Marketing and Special Events Recreation Manager, a Pavilion Recreation Manager, an Aquatics Recreation Manager, and an Assistant Aquatics Recreation Manager. The Parks Department maintains over 350 acres at more than 11 park sites, including three recreation centers, five boat launch sites, two walking trails, two pool facilities, and other passive and active amenities, and the Pavilion swimming pool is used for swim lessons, water aerobics, and swim meets. One testimonial describes the facilities, programs, and activities as serving all ages, and another describes the gym as having a huge pool with a slide, being clean, and having wonderful staff. A testimonial from a former employee describes gaining certifications as a Lifeguarding Instructor and Water Safety Instructor while employed, notes very flexible scheduling with up to 40 hours during the summer, and mentions work opportunities both inside and outside at multiple sites. Georgetown Scott County Friends of the Parks is described as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing, expanding, and improving the parks and programs.
