Lexington Jiu-Jitsu & Fitness offers Fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu for ages 12 and up with little to no jiu-jitsu experience. It also offers Intermediate & Advanced Jiu-Jitsu, Competition Training, Situational Sparring, Open Mat, Women's Jiu-Jitsu, Bulletproof for BJJ, and Community Roll.
Programs
- Fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu — ages 12 and up; little to no jiu-jitsu experience · Monday-Thursday, 5:15pm to 6pm · Co-ed class; designed for beginners and beneficial for all levels; no live rolling, may include situational sparring; excellent for more mature kids and parents to participate together
- Intermediate & Advanced Jiu-Jitsu — students with prior jiu-jitsu experience and a solid understanding of the fundamentals · Mon-Thurs, 12pm to 1pm and 6:30pm to 7:30pm; Saturday, 12pm to 1pm · Co-ed class; includes warmup, technique demonstration, drilling and live rolling; Gi and No-Gi on alternating days
- Competition Training — Friday, 5:30pm to 7pm · High intensity class for competition preparation; requires a solid foundation of fundamentals
- Situational Sparring — Monday-Thursday, 6pm to 6:30pm · Supplement for the fundamentals class; instructor-guided scenarios with four 5-minute rounds and 45 seconds rest
- Open Mat — Monday and Wednesday, 4pm to 5pm; Saturday, 1pm to 2pm · Self-directed practice and drilling; instructor present for questions
- Women's Jiu-Jitsu — Saturday, 11am to 12pm · Women-only class with warmup, technique demonstration and drilling; led by Jessie
- Bulletproof for BJJ — Saturday, 10am to 10:45am · Guided by Henry Huffines, 200 RYT; free to the jiu-jitsu community at large; precedes the Community Roll
- Community Roll — Invitation to the jiu-jitsu community at large; practitioners visiting from other academies are welcome; on hiatus

The program aims to elevate its community through the art of jiu-jitsu and promote cooperation between academies to raise the level of skill across all jiu-jitsu practitioners. It invites the jiu-jitsu community at large to Community Roll and welcomes practitioners visiting from other academies.
Membership gives unlimited access to all classes and open mat times. Free trial is offered to potential students living within Kentucky. Students may participate or rest and observe during live rolling in Intermediate/Advanced. Community Roll requires signing a waiver and abiding by house rules. Competition training requires a solid foundation of fundamentals. There are no refunds for unused memberships. KY sales tax (6%) applies to all rates.
