Class Acts Education Series, Summer Camps & Workshops

Class Acts Education Series, Summer Camps & Workshops takes place at The Carson Center for the Performing Arts, a regional, multiple-use facility that presents entertainment, cultural, and education programming. The program uses a building that includes a main theatre hall with a ten-story stage tower and 63 line sets for scenery, lighting, and curtains, as well as multiple rooms designed for performances, events, and gatherings.

The Carson Center for the Performing Arts operates as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to serve the Four Rivers region as a leader in presenting live performances and cultural experiences that are both entertaining and educational, while also being economically beneficial to the community. The organization’s leadership team includes Brian Wilson (Executive Director), Liz Walker (Chief Operating Officer), Rhonda Lee (Director of Finance), Erika Finley (Director of Programming & Booking), Sara Crabtree (Box Office Manager), Maddie Mahood (Education Manager), Cheyenne Walker (Marketing Manager), Miranda Cooper (Staff Accountant / Office Manager), Emmy Walton (Event Manager), Mark Wise (Technical Services Manager), Jimmy McNabb (Facilities Manager), and Joanie Sharp (Food & Beverage Manager). The Carson Center serves a diverse population from a four-state region and beyond and is a significant component of Paducah’s downtown area revitalization.
