Kids Krav Maga at S.I.C.A. MMA & Krav Maga offers Krav Maga for kids with age-based classes that focus on age-appropriate self-defense training. Classes use a curriculum that includes basic strikes, defense against grabs, chokes, and pushes, situational drills for awareness and escape, and anti-bullying strategies and verbal assertiveness. The program is part of a school that also offers Krav Maga for adults, Kickboxing, StrikeFit classes, a Women’s Self-Defense Class, and an Abduction & Bullying Defense Seminar.

• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Kids Krav Maga classes for ages 5–8 are offered on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and classes for ages 9–12 are offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

The Kids Krav Maga program at S.I.C.A. MMA & Krav Maga is led by Chief Krav Maga Instructor Keith Burregi and Krav Maga Instructor Jamie B. Keith Burregi has been inducted into the Action Martial Arts Hall of Honors in 2022 for Excellence in Teaching Martial Arts and in 2023 for Krav Maga Instructor of the Year, and his school was recognized as Best Krav Maga School in Louisiana in 2022 by The Federation of Israeli Martial Arts, which also named him Krav Maga Instructor of the Year for 2022 and 2023. Keith Burregi has trained in multiple martial arts, including Tae Kwon Do, Tang Soo Do, Aikijujitsu, Aikido, Lung Shou Pai Kung Fu, and Krav Maga through Krav Maga Alliance, and he has been studying Krav Maga since 2013 and instructing with Krav Maga Alliance since 2016. He became Chief Instructor of S.I.C.A. MMA in January 2018, was certified as a StrikeFit Instructor in 2017, and, along with three of his instructors, was certified as a Young Warrior Instructor in 2019; he has also been training in Kavanah since 2021. Jamie has been studying Krav Maga since 2016, is a Level 4 practitioner, and holds certifications as a Level 1 Krav Maga Instructor and a Young Warriors Certification.

The school offers a free monthly Abduction & Bullying Defense Seminar for ages 6–14. It also runs a Women’s Self-Defense Class every month and uses the class fee to help pay for memberships of victims of abuse, and it has a scholarship program for victims of abuse and sexual assault that provides up to one year of training at no charge. In 2017, Keith was invited to teach a Women’s Self-Defense Class for nearly 400 high school students at St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge and has since led similar courses at Southeastern Louisiana University and Louisiana State University for local sororities.
