Empire Gymnastics offers SPECTacular Gymnastics classes, SPECTacular Open Gym sessions, summer camp, Parents & Peanuts, preschool and developmental classes, tumbling, Homeschool P.E., Flex & Stretch, Adult Gymnastics, competitive teams, Kids' Night Out, and private lessons. Classes focus on learning foundational gymnastics skills while including strength-building and coordination exercises in a fun, supportive, and encouraging space. Empire offers students of all ages the chance to defy gravity in a safe environment with a uniquely structured system that blends the art and science of movement and emphasizes proper skill development.
• Ages: 3–12 years old
• Schedule: Office hours Monday–Friday 2:00 PM–7:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM; SPECTacular Gymnastics is a structured 30-minute class for preschool-aged students 3 and 4 years old; structured beginner classes are 45 minutes long for students 5–12 years old; SPECTacular Open Gym sessions are 45 minutes; Kids' Night Out events run 6:00 PM–10:00 PM on listed dates; the gym is closed 04/01–04/07 for spring/Easter break and 05/23–05/25 for Memorial Day weekend.
• Price: Tuition is $72.45 + tax per month for preschool classes and $82.95 + tax per month for beginner classes, plus a $45 annual membership fee; SPECTacular Open Gym has a drop-in rate of $17 + tax per class.
SPECTacular Gymnastics is for students on the Autism Spectrum or who have special needs who might need a smaller group, quieter environment, or more direct attention, and the student-to-teacher ratio for these classes is 4:1. SPECTacular Open Gym operates on a drop-in basis, and parents are allowed on the gym floor if needed during structured classes and are recommended to stay on the gym floor with their child during open gym. Empire Gymnastics was built for families, by a family over 20 years ago and is in the process of revamping programs to expand the types of classes offered.
All coaches pass background checks, obtain safety certifications, and are continually trained to stay current with the latest developments in safety and sport techniques. The program’s mission is to provide value for families with unique and flexible programs that respect the various needs of the community, create a fun, supportive, and safe space where all students feel welcome and accepted, nurture developing minds and bodies with a balance of self-discovery, active play, structure, and education, and combine the art and science of movement with interactive sport instruction for responsible skill development. The mission also includes inspiring coaches and students to foster an optimal learning environment, positively impacting the lives of children through enriching experiences where they receive gymnastics instruction and tools for a life full of success. Empire emphasizes transparent and honest communication, inclusivity and collaboration, perpetual growth and personal development, integrity, authenticity and respect, and making a positive impact every day, and aims to be another resource in the village that surrounds parents as they raise their children.
