LAAPA School of Music & Dance

LAAPA School of Music & Dance offers dance classes for toddlers, pre-level students, Level I, and Level II & up, plus dance classes for adults. It also offers acting and drama classes, musical theatre classes, bands and ensembles classes, toddler music classes, piano lessons, guitar lessons, and a summer camp held each July.

About the provider

LAAPA School of Music & Dance was originally founded in 1978. Its mission has remained the same for the past 40 years: to foster a love of and lifetime success in music, dance, and the performing and creative arts for kids, teens, and adults through inspirational and motivational teaching methods. LAAPA is an Institutional member of the Music Teachers National Association and the Music Academy Network, and welcomes more than 600 students each week from Mandeville, Covington, Madisonville, Hammond, Slidell, and nearby communities.

Students are welcome to enroll at any point during the year. If you aren't able to find a schedule that works well for you, or are having technical issues booking, please speak with us. Office hours are Monday-Thursday 8 AM - 9 PM, Friday 8 AM - 7:30 PM, and Saturday 8:00 AM - 4 PM.
