About
Amesbury Recreation Department Programs offers after school sports and enrichment, summer programs for sports, nature, STEAM, on the water, arts and more, and Counselor in Training programs. The programs also include Camp Kent Nature Center programs and monthly events, Lake Gardner Beach Recreation, and youth summer events such as the Lake Gardner Festival and Kid’s Day in the Park. Adult programming includes volleyball, pickleball, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and kayak activities.
The Amesbury Recreation Department Programs are led by Director Kathy Crowley, Assistant Recreation Director Christopher Lull, and Office Manager Caroline Robitaille. Its mission is to provide social, physical, recreational, educational and cultural programs and opportunities to Amesbury's youth at an affordable cost. The programs also note that they are provided at an affordable cost.
