Camp Middlesex

Camp Middlesex offers Day Camp, Extended Day Camp, Junior Camp, Teen Camp, LIT (Leaders in Training), and CIT (Counselors in Training). LIT works with day camp groups, leaves each day, assists counselors, and receives daily leadership training. CIT works with overnight campers, takes on more responsibility, attends leadership workshops, and works closely with senior counselors.

• Day Camp — 6-15 · Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Extended Day Camp — 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• Extended Evening Program — Day campers can join dinner and evening activities with overnight campers; pick-up is at 9:00 PM at the bridge.
• Junior Camp — 8-12
• Teen Camp — 13-15

• General schedule: Day Camp runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Extended Day Camp runs from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Overnight campers have evening programs at 7:15 PM; Junior Camp bedtime is 9:30 PM and Teen Camp bedtime is 10:30 PM.

About the provider

Camp Middlesex is in its 85th year and is accredited by the American Camp Association. Its mission is to create a supportive environment for youth and adults to reach their fullest potential. The camp offers a 4:1 camper to counselor ratio, all staff and volunteers have criminal background checks, and a licensed RN/LPN is on site 24-hours while camp is in session.

This camp must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and be licensed by the Ashby Board of Health. Safety standards are reviewed annually.
