The Athol Area YMCA Swim Team is for swimmers ages 4 and over who can successfully swim 25 yards without a bubble. The swim team has three main seasons: regular season, Worcester County early season, and summer season. There is a 2-week trial period where fees are waived, and meet participation is not required, but is strongly encouraged.

About the provider
Erin Kimball is the Program Director Aquatics / Camps and the contact for the Swim Team. Coaches work with swimmers based on ability and goals. Attendance is taken at practice, missed practices may be made up, younger swimmers are not allowed to attend the later practice, and older swimmers may attend the earlier practice in some circumstances.
Swimmers ages 4 and over who can successfully swim 25 yards without a bubble are welcome to sign up. There is a 2-week trial period where fees are waived. Coaches will work with swimmers based on ability and goals. Younger swimmers are not allowed to attend the later practice. Older swimmers may attend the earlier practice in some circumstances. Volunteers helping older swimmers and captain leaders may have volunteer hour sheets signed. Meet participation is not required, but is strongly encouraged. Attendance is taken at practice, and missed practices may be made up.
