Athol Area YMCA Youth & Summer Programs are part of the Athol Area YMCA’s offerings for children and teens. The programs are connected to the YMCA’s broader services, which include in-person and Virtual YMCA access, financial assistance, and membership for all.
• Schedule: The Athol Area YMCA facility hours as of December 1, 2025 are Monday–Thursday 4:30am–10:00pm, Friday 4:30am–9:00pm, Saturday 7:00am–4:00pm, and Sunday 8:00am–4:00pm.
The Athol Area YMCA states that its mission is to strengthen and enrich the lives of individuals, families, and the community through quality programs and services that build healthy spirit, mind, and body. The leadership team includes Interim CEO Jim Scherer and Program Director Emily White, who oversees sports, membership, summer camps, the community center, teens and youth, and aquatics, along with directors for child care services, preschool, healthy living, financial aid, and resident case management. The organization also promotes community involvement with the message, “Do Good. Be Better. Volunteer!”
