Luis Silva played collegiately at UCSB, was selected 4th overall by Toronto FC in the first round of the 2012 MLS SuperDraft, played for DC United, Real Salt Lake, Seattle Sounders, and Liga MX side Tigres, and has won MLS Cup, US Open Cup, Canadian Cup, and Liga MX. Next Step Training was founded to provide a unique competitive experience for high-level local players in and around the Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island area, using high-level coaching, invite-only environments, and a club-neutral philosophy, with each training session focused on technical, tactical, and mental growth while encouraging creativity. Next Step Training was voted a top 10 Nike Soccer Camp in 2025 by players and parents and is a 2025 Top-10 Rated Director Awards recipient.
