Berklee Summer Programs offers students the chance to focus on music performance, theater, and dance. Participants can study areas such as music production, songwriting, composition, music business, music entrepreneurship, guitar, and harmony and ear training through a range of one-day to multiweek offerings.

Berklee states that its diverse summer programs welcome dedicated students at all levels in contemporary music, theater, and dance, and that students can explore their creativity and receive tailored training while learning from renowned faculty and visiting artists. Faculty include Grammy-, Oscar-, and Tony-winning artists, and students can study with world-class faculty and visiting artists. Certain programs, including Aspire: Five-Week Music Performance Intensive, offer the option to earn college credit. Any student who attends a Berklee summer program is entitled to a fee waiver when applying for admission to the undergraduate programs at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and over 30 percent of Berklee Summer Programs students later attend Berklee as undergraduate students.

Each summer, more than 3,000 students travel from over 70 countries to attend Berklee Summer Programs and work with other musicians, actors, and dancers. Berklee offers over 30 summer programs in music, dance, and theater for ages 12 and up, with options on campus in Boston, at a campus in Valencia, Spain, in Los Angeles, California, and online. Berklee notes that most summer programs have open registration with no audition required, and that students from over 70 countries attend each year.
