Summer Dance Program includes classes and activities in Character, Choreography/Improv, Technique, and Modern, along with a Boston Harbor Cruise. The program is part of Boston Ballet School’s Summer Dance Program (SDP) for serious-minded, high-level ballet students. The curriculum includes a strong focus on classical ballet technique representing over half of a student’s training hours and also explores a broader spectrum of dance styles.

• Schedule: Sunday, June 28–Saturday, July 25
Boston Ballet School’s Summer Dance Program (SDP) offers an unparalleled experience for serious-minded, high-level ballet students between the ages of 12 and 18. Students from around the world are drawn to SDP to immerse themselves in a professional training environment. Instruction takes place under an internationally renowned, world‑renowned faculty. The studios used for the program are described as state-of-the-art. Residential students live at Boston University and are offered a true “Boston” experience with the Charles River and Fenway Park just steps away and easy access to sites like Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Boston Common. Summer Dance Program must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and be licensed by the local board of health.
