Thayer Summer Sports Camps offers basketball, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse, and Lax & Crafts - Coed Youth Lacrosse. Sports camps run Monday through Thursday throughout the summer, and the field hockey, boys lacrosse, Lax & Crafts, and girls lacrosse sessions are scheduled for specific July dates and run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Several sessions list a fee of $535 per week.
Programs
- Basketball Camp — Students entering grades 3-9 · Monday through Thursday throughout the summer · Summer sports camp focused on skill development in a positive and engaging environment. Top-notch coaching is offered in basketball.
- Field Hockey Camp — Students entering grades 3 to 9 · July 20 - July 23, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. · $535 per week · All experience levels. Students will be provided both lunch and snack.
- Lacrosse Camp — Students entering grades 3 to 9 · Monday through Thursday throughout the summer · Top-notch coaching is offered in lacrosse.
- Soccer Camp — Students entering grades 3-9 · Monday through Thursday throughout the summer · Top-notch coaching is offered in soccer.
- Boys Lacrosse Camp — Students entering grades 3 to 8 · July 6 - 9, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. · $535 per week · All experience levels. Students will be provided both lunch and snack.
- Lax & Crafts - Coed Youth Lacrosse — Ages 4-8 (co-ed) · July 13 - July 16, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. · $535 per week · A camp that blends lacrosse with arts and crafts. Students will be provided both lunch and snack.
- Girls Lacrosse Camp — Students entering grades 3 to 9 · July 27 - 30, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. · $535 per week · All experience levels. Students will be provided both lunch and snack.

About the provider
Thayer Summer Sports Camps is led by Program Director Ian Wheeler. The coaches listed are William "Bill" Daye, Suzanne Akerson, Paul Turner, Anni Zukauskas, Evan Carlson, and Suzanne Noone. The program states that it has offered Lax & Crafts for over 20 years and that it is led by coaches and players with Division I and III college-level experience.
Registration is accepted on a rolling basis throughout the duration of the program. For priority consideration, complete the registration form and submit medical forms by June 15.
