Cataumet Arts Center Classes for Children and Teens

Cataumet Arts Center Classes for Children and Teens offers classes that include painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, sculpture, and writing. Classes take place in a setting that also hosts special exhibitions, gallery talks, working artists' studios, concerts, and arts and cultural events.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

Programs at the Cataumet Arts Center are supported in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Bourne Cultural Council. The center includes artists' studios where visitors can meet artists working in their studios on the premises and learn about their creative process. The Exhibition Gallery presents work by local and regional artists in solo and group shows year-round, and the “Artful Way” Gallery features fine arts and artisanry by over 40 Cape Cod artists in a wide variety of media. The Coffee House hosts live music and performance events in the gallery with singer-songwriters, musicians, authors, poets, and storytellers. The Cataumet Arts Center is wheelchair accessible, and there is no admission fee for the galleries.
