Camp at The Thoreau Club includes activities such as archery, arts and crafts, ropes courses, campfire building, sports, daily swim lessons, free swim, hip hop dance, a challenge course, and outdoor living skills. Campers take part in a range of structured and active options throughout the camp day. Families also receive a “Parent TIP* Packing campers’ backpacks!” to help prepare for camp days.

Camp at The Thoreau Club focuses on building character, confidence, and community, and is dedicated to the development of well-rounded and confident youth through a comprehensive camp experience. Campers aged 4–15 years old become members of a community that acts in a caring, respectful, fair, and friendly manner, and the camp experience is rooted in caring and kindness where kids can be kids. Campers are acknowledged each session for their achievements and milestones within the camp curriculum and are also acknowledged when demonstrating character within the camp community. Families can choose from Mini Camp, a half-day weekly program for campers ages 4 years old to rising Kindergarten, Full-Day Camp for campers ages 4 to 14 years old, or Junior Tennis Camp for qualified players ages 7–17. The Thoreau Club Junior Tennis program offers full and half-day camp sessions for junior tennis players ages 7–17, where advanced-beginners and intermediate tennis players take part in fun games and drills with professional tennis staff. The Thoreau Club Junior Tennis program uses renowned professional tennis staff.
