Holbrook Avon Youth Soccer Association offers Spring Rec Soccer, Mini Kickers, PreK/K soccer, Grades 1/2 soccer, weekly practices and games, Travel Soccer, and a Referee Program. The program also includes Spring Recreation Soccer and adult volunteer support in non-coaching roles such as field setup, team coordination, snack organizing, and general event help.
• Ages: 2–8 years old
• Schedule: Mini Kickers sessions are held on Saturday mornings, Sunday Rec Soccer for PreK/K and Grades 1/2, with Travel Soccer games during Spring (April–June) and Fall (September–November), and Spring Recreation Soccer 2026 running April 12, 2026–June 7, 2026.
• Price: Mini Kickers Spring 2026 costs $100.00; Spring Recreation Soccer 2026 costs $100.00 for regular registration and $110.00 for late registration; the Referee – Spring 2026 and Volunteer – Spring 2026 programs have a registration cost of $0.00.
Mini Kickers is designed for 2, 3, and 4-year-olds as a joyful introduction to soccer for young athletes and their parents, using story-based games and age-appropriate activities to teach basics of soccer while building coordination, balance, and confidence. Mini Kickers sessions are led by professional coaches who specialize in early childhood development, and the Mini Kickers program states that its number one goal is that every child leaves with a smile because fun comes first.
The Referee Program is open to HAYSA Travel (Grades 3/4) and Recreation Referees, requires participants to be at least 13 years old, and includes training prior to the season start. It is described as a great opportunity for young leaders to gain experience, support their community, and earn while learning the game. Volunteers are needed as coaches, program helpers, and new board members, and adult volunteer registration ensures volunteers are registered with MA Youth Soccer and covered for insurance purposes.
Holbrook High School Gym 1 requires soccer flats or sneakers only, and dogs are not allowed on Holbrook High School school property.
