A sample Musical Theatre Camp day includes wake-up warmups, music, snack, outdoor acting games, rehearsing scenes, lunch outdoors, choreography and dance, a theatre make-up workshop, and yoga and relaxation. Prana Summer Acting Camp is described as a fun, safe environment for kids and teens, and the Prana Acting Center is described as a supportive way for children to develop self-confidence, public speaking skills, and learn more about acting and working as a team. The camp is held at the beautiful and spacious CTK Lutheran Church, which is described as having gorgeous outdoor and indoor areas and lots of outdoor time.

Director Roberta Weiner founded Prana in 2001 as a safe place for kids to learn and grow and is celebrating 24 years of Summer Fun at Prana. She received her second yoga certification at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health. Prana Acting Center runs four or more shows per year, acting classes, and a popular Summer Acting Camp, and all camps, acting classes, and preparation for productions are taught in the same environment as yoga classes, where students can take risks without fear of ridicule or failure. This camp complies with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and is licensed by the Holliston Board of Health.

The Prana Center is conveniently located in downtown Holliston behind the Holliston Public Library and is minutes from neighboring towns including Ashland, Medfield, Medway, Millis, Milford, and Sherborn, and it is convenient for students to walk from Holliston’s Placentino and Miller Elementary Schools and Robert Adams Middle School. Families and students describe the counselors as welcoming and engaging, the camp as incredibly well planned out, and the environment as warm, accepting, and like a second family, with many students returning year after year. Multiple parent and student testimonials describe increased confidence, happiness, and a strong sense of community connected to Prana shows, classes, and camps.
