About
Boys & Girls Club of Lynn Afterschool and Summer Programs offers afterschool programming during the school year and a summer camp program. During the school year, the Club serves 1,500 members through various afterschool programs, and more than 250 children attend daily. The Club’s programming focuses on education and career development, character and leadership development, health and life skills, the arts, and sports, fitness and recreation activities, and the summer camp program serves over 125 children weekly at Creighton Pond Day Camp in Middleton.

• Schedule: Fall office hours 9am–5pm, afterschool programming 1:45pm–6pm, and teen hours 1:45pm–8:30pm
The mission of Boys & Girls Club of Lynn Afterschool and Summer Programs is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those that need the Club the most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Youth involved with the Club have assembled community care packages, written letters to frontline workers, and taken part in community efforts related to recovery from the pandemic. Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the national organization, holds Guidestar’s Platinum Seal of Transparency, is ranked #11 on the Chronicle of Philanthropy’s list of “America’s Favorite Charities,” and has been recognized by Consumer Reports as one of the “Best Charities for Your Donations.” Through Club learning centers, more than 200,000 youth have received internet access and technology to support virtual schoolwork, and Clubs have served over 24 million emergency meals and snacks, provided wellness checks and youth activities to 460,000 families, and delivered more than $10 million in economic assistance to 42,000 families through relief and crisis funding.
