Mystic Valley YMCA Youth Development Programs offers Summer Camp, Karate, and Swim Lessons. These activities take place as part of the broader youth development offerings at the Mystic Valley YMCA.
• Schedule: Facility hours Monday–Friday 5:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m., Saturday 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and Sunday 7:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
The Mystic Valley YMCA has a 143-year history as a welcoming organization and focuses on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Its mission is to strengthen communities with relevant, continually evolving programs and services that enrich the lives of all people in spirit, mind, and body. The organization describes itself as powered by community, driven by compassion, and open to all, and states that there is no place like this place. It states that it will never have to turn someone away due to an inability to pay and continues community outreach to vulnerable youth, families, and seniors. The Mystic Valley YMCA serves Everett, Malden, Medford, and neighboring cities and develops community-based solutions in response to pressing social needs. Mystic Valley YMCA is the recipient of a Cummings Grant. The leadership team includes Debbie Amaral (President & Chief Executive Officer), Beth Cameron (Senior Compliance Officer), Lindsay Chan (Aquatics Director), Joshua Chu (Director of Food Access and Community Health), Brendon Dupont (Director of Membership Services), Lisa Fabin-Bett (Chief Development Officer), Crissy Jache (Chief Operating Officer), Kelly Kacinski (Director of Child Care Services), Diego Nascimento (Director of Healthy Living), Keara Ross (Director of Teens and Music), and Wuying Hsiao (Director of Early Learning).
