Camp Sanctuary includes silly songs, art, nature and science exploring, games, skits, stories, and beginner group ukulele lessons. Programming is offered for kindergarteners, elementary aged campers, and middle school “leadership campers,” with a mix of these activities during camp. The program offers a welcoming and fun-filled week with a little bit of everything.

Camp Sanctuary states that camp has always been about helping kids care for each other and people everywhere, while trying new things together in a supportive environment. The program describes feeling included in something larger while recognizing the wonder of the present moment, and it cultivates faith in God’s presence in all situations and with all people. Faith in God’s presence is cultivated with all people at camp.
Students currently in 8th grade can apply for a CIT position, and students currently in 9th grade and up can apply for a counselor or staff position. The program notes that it is doing the same things this year, and that this has never been more important for kids, counselors, and the community.
