YMCA Southcoast Youth Camps and Youth Programs

YMCA Southcoast Youth Camps and Youth Programs include activities such as swimming, rock climbing, archery, drama, enrichment activities, gym and outdoor games, sports, arts and crafts, high and low ropes elements, and science experiments. Camp Massasoit is part of these programs and has provided a summer camp experience to generations of families since 1962. Camp Nep-In-Nae is part of the Gleason Family YMCA, and Camp Weetamoe is another camp option within YMCA Southcoast Youth Camps and Youth Programs.

YMCA Southcoast’s mission is to improve the spiritual, mental, social, educational, and physical conditions of all persons, and it is part of the nation’s leading nonprofit committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. YMCA Southcoast has been working to provide health and social services to thousands of youth, families, and individuals throughout the Southcoast region for over 160 years. YMCA Southcoast has partnered with the Greater Boston Food Bank to launch the Full Plate Project at five participating branches to address lack of access to healthy, affordable food, and the Dartmouth YMCA operates the 4.2-acre Sharing the Harvest Community Farm, which has donated more than 450,000 pounds of produce to the community since 2006.
