About

Commonwealth Learning Center offers one-to-one academic support in most subject areas, reading tutoring with multisensory phonics-based instruction, writing instruction from basic sentence structure to advanced composition, and individualized math instruction from elementary math through high school calculus. It also offers educational evaluations, test preparation for college admission, independent school entrance exams, SAT, ACT, GED/HiSET, ISEE, and MCAS, executive function support, and academic support with homework and following directions.

About the provider

Commonwealth Learning Center was established in 1988 and has served the community for more than 30 years. It is an independent nonprofit educational center led by Beth Dinelli, M.Ed., Director. The center is accredited by the Orton-Gillingham Academy, and its teachers have advanced degrees in special education, mathematics, and reading and are certified to teach students with learning differences.

Works with students who have learning differences including dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, executive function challenges, language-based learning disabilities, non-verbal learning disabilities, and learning disabilities. Services are open to K-12 students, college students, and adults. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.
