About

PUDDLESTOMPERS Nature Exploration offers interactive and engaging year-round nature programming for young children and their caregivers. The program encourages kids to get out and explore the natural communities in their own backyards and to explore the mysteries and wonders of nature in a safe and nurturing environment. Children are encouraged to talk about their experiences and express themselves with art, music, active movement, and play, while using an integrated environmental curriculum that includes observation, classification, color and number identification, and life skills, and that involves asking and answering questions about plants, animals, and habitats as a group.

• Ages: 2–9 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, with seasonal offerings including summer camp weeks and a February vacation daily drop-off program

PUDDLESTOMPERS Nature Exploration has served the communities of Greater Boston for over two decades. The program is led by seasoned teacher-naturalists and offers programming throughout the Greater Boston area in partnership with various schools, preschools, and Parks & Recreation Departments. PUDDLESTOMPERS is committed to connecting the youngest naturalists and their parents and caregivers to the open spaces in their communities and believes that nature is a unifying force. The organization unequivocally supports the entire BIPOC community and condemns all forms of racism, prejudice, violence, and hatred perpetrated. PUDDLESTOMPERS is committed to contributing to the fight against climate change by donating a percentage of revenue to each community it services to support local environmental education and conservation efforts.
