About the provider

The Hampshire Regional YMCA has provided wellness and family services to the community since 1880. Its mission is to strengthen the community by fostering healthy living, the development of young people, social connection and responsibility, in a welcoming environment for all. All YMCA swim instructors are trained in the nationally recognized swim lesson curriculum, and the pools have a certified lifeguard on duty.

The Y is open to all. It welcomes individuals with diverse abilities and asks to contact Julie Bianco at [email protected] if reasonable accommodations or modifications are needed.

“The YMCA classes got me out of my postpartum depression and anxiety and I will forever be grateful! My kids are 4 and 6 now and we all love going to the YMCA. They love the child watch and summer camps. I love the strength, step and spin classes. Thank you, YMCA!” — Leanne K.HRYMCA Member

“The welcoming and supportive atmosphere created by the HRYMCA staff members and instructors gave me the courage to try things I wouldn’t have otherwise considered.
