About

F.U.S.E. School & Program offers pretend play, movement activities, and games as part of its play-based, relationship-focused approach. All social groups in the program are play based and relationship focused, and each social group includes 2–3 children with one trained teacher. Classrooms have two teachers working with six to seven children, with additional support teachers available to step in as a third teacher.

• Ages: 1–8 years old
• Schedule: School Vacation and Summer Programs during February and April vacation weeks, plus a 7-week summer experience

The F.U.S.E. SCHOOL & PROGRAM was created in 2012 by Lauren Weeks, Psy.D., a clinical child psychologist, who serves as Founder and Clinical Director. It is a private nonprofit school for preschool through 1st grade, and a nonprofit therapeutic private school and summer program for neurodiverse learners ages 18 months through seven years. The program includes an after school social group program and a therapeutic summer program, with a small ratio of 6–7 children with 2 highly trained teachers in the School Vacation and Summer Programs. On-site occupational therapy and speech therapy are available. The mission of F.U.S.E. School & Program is to best understand each child’s strengths and challenges and develop a comprehensive systematic approach focusing on social, emotional, and cognitive learning. F.U.S.E. Preschool was awarded a $225,000 Cummings Grant given over three years and is one of 150 local nonprofits that will share in $30 million through Cummings Foundation’s major annual grants program.
