About the provider

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro North has served Metro North for 50+ years and was founded on September 27, 1973, with a mission to enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. It is EEC-licensed care and a proud affiliate of Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The program serves an average of 650 children and teens every day across Stoneham, Wakefield, Saugus, Malden, Medford, and Melrose.

Teen Center operates on an Open Door Policy. Membership is $12/month per teen. Returning members from the previous school year are automatically re-enrolled each September. Membership renews automatically and continues until canceled. If a monthly payment fails, membership and Club access are paused until resolved. Cancellation is by email. Forms are required once per calendar year.

What families say

“I never saw empathy from strangers until I came to the Clubs. When my mom worked late, they let us stay later. When I was sad, they asked what was wrong… these strangers told me they cared.” — Amaia, Club Member
