Families are typically mailed brochures at the start of the camp season year, with copies also available at the local branch, and digital copies of brochures are uploaded once they are complete. The program typically emails a parent handbook to all registered camp families before their week of camp and also offers a virtual version of the parent handbook. A summer theme calendar is typically created to help families and campers keep up to date with themes so outfits can match if a child would like to participate. Transportation is currently not available for Camp Taunton.
Families are asked to send campers each day with a non-perishable bag lunch, a water bottle with water, a bathing suit and towel, sunscreen, and bug spray.
