Montague Parks & Recreation Programs are run through the town’s parks and recreation department and use several local park and playground areas. Unity Park program information includes winter program details that are released to families, and Unity Park offers public WiFi access through the Unity Park Public WiFi network.

The programs are led by a director with the credentials Jon Dobosz, CPRP, CPO, and supported by Jen Peterson, Clerk / Bookkeeper. Montague Parks & Recreation is a member of the National Recreation & Parks Association, the Massachusetts Recreation & Parks Association, the New England Parks Association, and the Pioneer Valley Parks & Recreation Association. Montague is also recognized as a “Playful City USA” community. The department serves the villages of Turners Falls, Montague Center, Millers Falls, Montague City, and Lake Pleasant.
