Boston Rhythmic offers rhythmic gymnastics, aerial arts, tumbling, breakdancing, preschool gymnastics, a Flips & Tricks class, Rising Stars, Xcel Team, Junior Olympics, boys gymnastics, adults gymnastics, summer camp, and other camps. The program also offers virtual master classes, online classes, and competitions that families can access from home.

Since 2002, Boston Rhythmic has focused on rhythmic gymnastics. The program offers various classes and camps for ages 2 to adult, including online classes for all ages and levels. Professional instructors use a positive coaching method in a tight-knit family business atmosphere, and the vision is based on innovation, outside-the-box thinking, and top-notch training. Boston Rhythmic offers preschool classes online or in the gym, as well as high-level competitive gymnastics.
Boston Rhythmic is New England’s largest rhythmic gymnastics program and the largest rhythmic gymnastics school on the east coast. It has locations in Waltham, Hyde Park, and Westborough, and offers classes in state-of-the-art facilities or online from anywhere in the world. Needham, Newton, and Watertown locations are permanently closed.
The mission of Boston Rhythmic is to “empower children to reach beyond what they think is possible!” The founder and executive director is Smaranda Albeck, who is also the CEO of Boston Rhythmic.
In March 2020, Boston Rhythmic moved over 100 classes online in response to COVID-19 and continued serving over 500 students from all over the world in virtual master classes, camps, and competitions. One parent, Lorry Melon, said, “I would like to applaud Boston Rhythmic for setting up on-line classes so quickly and efficiently for the kiids! This has made a huge difference in their daily routines during quarantine!” Another parent, Steve Smith, said, “I appreciate this is a very difficult time for you and all other coaches given these online-class-format was never tried before. Thank you for putting in extra effort...” A parent named Elora shared, “[Our daughter's] instructor has been as energetic as always during the online classes, and it has been wonderful to see our friends on video!” Another parent, Krista, said, “Thank you again for arranging those virtual classes, we know they aren’t easy and there’s a lot of roadblocks. We appreciate it!”
