Acton School of Ballet

Acton School of Ballet offers Lower School classes for students with little or no experience, with yearly syllabus programs that train classical ballet technique. It also offers Parent & Me for ages 18 months through 2nd grade, plus supplementary classes including Modern 1/2, Modern 3, Ballet Level, Variations 7+, Variations 5/6, Ballet Level 3 or 4, Pilates, Ballet Conditioning, and Contemporary.

• Lower School — 18 months through 3rd grade; ages 3 through 3rd grade are referenced for registration · Classes for students with little or no experience; yearly syllabus programs train classical ballet technique. 2026-2027 tuition is listed per installment for 2 installments per year.
• Upper School — 4th grade and up · Students in 4th grade and up must schedule a placement class.
• Parent & Me — 18 months through 2nd grade · $32 per class · Billed monthly.
• Modern 1/2 — Ballet Level 3-6 · Thursday 5:15-6:15 pm · Supplementary class.
• Modern 3 — Ballet Level 7+, or by invitation · Thursday 4:00-5:15 pm · Supplementary class; accompanied with live music.
• Ballet Level — Completion of Modern 1/2 and 2 years of Modern 3, or by invitation · Monday 6:15-7:30 pm · Supplementary class.

• Contemporary — Ballet Level 6+ · Tuesday 6:00-7:30 pm; Thursday 7:45-9:00 pm · Open Contemporary is available to students in Levels 6 and up as a supplementary class. Students may take Tuesday or Thursday or both classes.

Acton School of Ballet is the Official Ballet School of Commonwealth Ballet. The leadership team listed is Lindsay Moncrieff, Artistic Director, and Susan Moncrieff, Administrator.
