FOCUS Summer Programs

FOCUS Summer Programs offers College Week for undergraduates, June Week (all areas) for 9th through 12th grade, Middle School Adventure A for 6th through 8th grade, Crossroads A for 8th and 9th grade, and Rocky Mountain Expedition for 9th through 12th grade. Other offerings include Vineyard Service A for 10th through 12th grade, First-Time Leader I and II for 12th grade and up, Pre-College Weekend for 12th grade, Internship for 10th through 12th grade, July Week (all areas) for 9th through 12th grade, and Kiawah Island Week (all areas) for 9th through 12th grade.

• General schedule: Summer programs begin in early June and run through late August. Each summer, nearly 700 students visit the property for a weekend, a week, or sometimes even longer.

About the provider

FOCUS has been helping students explore Christian faith for six decades. Its mission is to explore with independent school students a life of faith that is real, adventurous, intellectually sound, and eminently practical.

FOCUS hosts numerous programs on its property on Lambert’s Cove in the town of West Tisbury on Martha’s Vineyard. Registration opens December 2 at 9:00am. All grades are based on the grade the student is currently in (2025-2026 school year). Programs are open to students from all areas unless otherwise specified. Students from all schools are welcome. FOCUS reserves the right to give priority to first-time participants and NAIS school students in cases where programs are oversubscribed. Admission to some programs is by application only.
