Scantic Valley YMCA Youth Programs

Scantic Valley YMCA Youth Programs take place within the broader offerings of the Scantic Valley YMCA, which include programs such as LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA, MOCHA, at-home workout videos, and an Alternative in Physical Therapy based in the Scantic Valley Y. The YMCA also offers lifeguard training in Wilbraham, a Winter Wellness Challenge, and a “Night at the Y” event that gives MRHS students a place to hang out.

• Schedule: Facility open Monday–Friday 5:30am–8:00pm; Saturday 7:00am–2:00pm; Sunday 8:00am–2:00pm

The Scantic Valley YMCA Youth Programs operate under the mission of the YMCA of Greater Springfield, which is to serve human needs in greater Springfield by providing programs that promote lifelong personal growth and the balanced development of spirit, mind, and body for all. Leadership connected to the branch includes Executive Director Debbie Kelder, Association Aquatics Director Kim Lavallee, Healthy Living Director Dawn Lapierre, and an advisory board that includes Jackie Hafner, Sean Mitchell, Tracey Perry, Amy Scribner, Amy Smith, William Sharp, and Vanessa Ruales.
