Youth Autism Services Camping & Recreation is part of the Youth Autism Services and Recreational Services Camping & Recreation programs offered through The League. The program is connected with other offerings such as CLUB1111, Adult Day Programs, Adult Medical Day, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Day, The SCALE Aphasia Program, Community Development Services, Day Habilitation, Employment Services, Behavior Support Services, Personal Supports, the Emmert Hobbs Fitness Center, and the Malcolm Hecht Therapeutic Pool. Families encounter this program within a larger network of disability-focused services.
For almost a century, The League has been a pillar of the Baltimore community. The League’s mission is to understand and combat the challenges faced by people with disabilities and their families, and to help individuals gain independence and increase their self-sufficiency in order to improve their overall quality of life through a diverse array of programs and services. Each year, The League supports 4,000 individuals, works with 50 community partners, and is staffed by 260 employees. The organization also includes 800 Wellness Center members, 650 volunteers, and hosts 300 CLUB1111 guests every month.
