Sandy Spring Soccer Club

Sandy Spring Soccer Club offers recreation soccer, select soccer, travel soccer, academy soccer, and TOPSoccer, along with adult clinics. Players can also join Ball Mastery Clinics, Goalkeeper Clinics, a Summer Soccer Academy, Summer Soccer Camps, Holiday Camps, Fall Travel Soccer, and Fall Recreation.

Founded in March 2022, Sandy Spring Soccer Club provides youth soccer experiences for boys and girls through recreation (ages 3–8), select (ages 7–13), travel (ages 8–18), and academy (ages 10–18) programs. The club focuses on five pillars of play: technical, tactical, physical, psychological, and psycho-social, and offers a comprehensive player pathway for all skill levels. Starting at the U-13 level, selected travel teams have the opportunity to travel to South America each summer, where annual trips include exposure to professional training environments, evaluation on an international stage, and competition against top-level international competition.

The coaching staff represents various countries around the world and brings a wide range of experiences, perspectives, and coaching styles to players. The club’s mission is to develop complete soccer players and even better human beings, both on and off the field, within a safe and supportive environment, while focusing on technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects of the game and instilling positive core values and a strong work ethic. Sandy Spring Soccer Club serves players across Montgomery, Howard, and Prince George's counties, with many players coming from Olney, Silver Spring, Gaithersburg, Columbia, and Bowie, and emphasizes a family-oriented, inclusive environment and sense of belonging. Programs aim to prepare players to reach their potential at collegiate and professional levels.
