About
Fair Hill Nature Center Summer Camps include environmental education with ecosystems, water quality, insects, soil science, and hibernation curriculum. Campers meet and learn about animal ambassadors Jake, Kai, Axel, Ruby, Spot, and Bernate, visit animal ambassadors, explore the grounds, complete a nature scavenger hunt, and create a nature craft. The program also uses fishing poles, dip nets, binoculars, field guides, rocking chairs, and bug nets as part of its activities.

• Schedule: Nature Center grounds open year round dawn to dusk, with public weekend hours from 10:00am to 3:00pm every Saturday and Sunday
Fair Hill Nature Center Summer Camps are operated by Fair Hill Environmental Foundation, Inc., whose mission is to inspire stewardship and community through outdoor environmental education. The organization serves over 7,500 people annually, including more than 6,000 Cecil County Public School elementary students, and also serves home schools, private schools, and daycares. It hosts Cecil County high school students in grades 9–12 for the Envirothon competition in topics such as forestry, soils, aquatics, wildlife, and a fifth rotating current environmental topic, and it is the host site for Boy Scout Troop 443.
