Kinder Garden Academy offers activities such as Meet ‘n Greet events, photo booths, a Fall Carnival, Trunk or Treat, a Thanksgiving Food Drive, a Christmas Party, and a Spring Fever Fun Run. Children attend several field trips each year, including visits to the zoo, police station, fire station, grocery store, and pumpkin patch. The program also holds parties for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, and birthdays, along with Spirit Days, book orders, school pictures, class pictures, graduation pictures, cap ‘n gown pictures, an end-of-the-year graduation video, and a yearly graduation ceremony where each child participates every year.

Kinder Garden Academy is described as Silver Spring's premier private preschool for children ages 3–5 and is strictly a preschool, not a daycare. The program offers a warm, home-like environment, small class sizes for maximum 1-on-1 learning, and a “whole child” curriculum that addresses social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive skills. It meets all of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) 10 Standards for High-Quality Preschool Programs and is state licensed with staff who are CPR/1st Aid Certified.
The program offers free family events all year long, with all events listed as free, and parents are always welcome to volunteer in the classroom and at events. Families are invited to join several field trips each year, and each year every child receives a different t-shirt for Spirit Days. Each child receives a portfolio of their artwork at graduation and a personalized yearbook that includes work samples, assessment results, and photos, and children are assessed three times per year with progress reports.
Kinder Garden Academy offers a private kindergarten program that runs 5 days per week from 9:00am–2:30pm, and children must be fully potty trained and turn 5 by October 31 to attend this private kindergarten. For preschool, families can choose 2 days per week (M/W 9:00am–1:00pm or T/Th 9:00am–1:00pm), 4 days per week (M–Th 9:00am–1:00pm or M/W/F 12:00–2:30pm), or 5 days per week (M–F 9:00am–1:00pm or M–F 12:00–2:30pm). Every enrolled child is entitled to a complimentary birthday party with up to 8 guests, where the family brings the cake and the school provides snacks, drinks, decorations, fun, and games, and the child can choose from a variety of themes available at the time of their birthday.
